| The
dedication of Codi's Corner was held at Cummings elementary
school on 4/29/04. speakers included principal Charlotte
Sachtjen, Teri Lemman from
the Oregon governor's office, school counselor Colleen Friedrich, a classmate and Sara Griffith.
Carol Adams performed her song "We Love Codi." Many
Kiwanis members attended including Salem Kiwanis president Greg
Barrick. One student left a note in the desk
